About Dr. Salem

A Pioneer in Non-Surgical Medicine

Dr. Haytham Salem is a British Family Medicine Consultant specialising in sports, musculoskeletal, regenerative and longevity medicine. He brings more than 15 years of experience supporting elite athletes, senior executives and corporate health clients through evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Originally trained as an orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on knee and hip replacement surgery, Dr. Salem subsequently transitioned to the non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions and joint pain. He spent eight years working in the English Premier League with distinguished clubs including Everton FC and Burnley FC, where he developed extensive expertise in the assessment and management of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

As Clinical Lead for MSK services in London, he contributed to the care of more than 250,000 patients annually. He also performs more than 3,500 ultrasound-guided injections each year, reflecting his commitment to precision, clinical governance and high standards of care.

Dr. Salem currently serves as a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Fortius Clinic London, a FIFA Centre of Excellence. He is also the Founder and Medical Director of Arthregen Clinics, through which he is extending an innovative model of care across London, Dubai, Toronto, Dublin and Cairo.

Dr. Salem is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in Ireland and holds postgraduate diplomas in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Sports and Exercise Medicine from recognised institutions, including the International Olympic Committee in Switzerland. He is also among the few consultants to have obtained postgraduate certification in MSK ultrasound from Brunel University London, supporting accurate diagnostic assessment and ultrasound-guided intervention.

He is a member of the American Society of Regenerative Medicine (ASRM) and is one of the few consultants to hold SSRP board certification in peptide therapy in the United States.

Through Arthregen, Dr. Salem has established a platform dedicated to advancing metabolic MSK and longevity medicine. The clinic integrates current scientific evidence in peptide therapy, regenerative medicine, stem cell therapies and lifestyle optimisation to support patients, athletes and executives in achieving long-term mobility, resilience and healthy ageing.
